UPDATE!!! Mac Update: 6126 iSync plugin & PCSuite for Mac
1. Today, Nova Media released a PCSuite equivalent for mac users. The software, Fone Link, costs about $60.00 but is well worth the money. With it you are able to:
- Transfer & convert your music, photos, videos and more to and from your mobile phone
- Backup and restore your data.
- Sync your contacts and calendar, both ways
- Browse your entire phone & memory card
- Create smart folders for easy drag and & drop of file types (amazing!!!)
- View and edit internet book marks and notes
- View SMS messages on your mobile and store them to your computer
- Create ringtones
- And the list goes on and on
Click here for a little demonstration
This has been a huge issue for Mac users in the past so I am ecstatic!!!
2. I have finally finished with an iSync plugin for the 6126 and have included it along with the N75 plugin and Nokia 3G modem scripts at the bottom of this post

It seems to work really well!
There are a few things that caught my eye though..
..is there a way of having FoneLink access my device without scanning it every time I connect?
In other words, I'd like to have a choice if I want to re-scan my device or just want to work with an archive/backup. The scanning process takes a lot of time, especially via bluetooth.
..there doen't seem a way to stop a file transfer from the media browser to the device; it seems that once the process is underway there's no way of stopping it short of quitting the app.
..if I select a playlist in the media browser to be transferred, it only transfers one song each time.
..it would be great if there was an option to backup and access the device via WiFi; Bluetooth just takes too long if you want to move large files.
These are just a few questions & suggestions of the top of my head. I applaud you for tackling a "missing link" for all Nokia and Mac users.
